Since AIPUT launched in March 2005, we have paved a successful path for our institutional investors and customers to invest in high-quality industrial warehouse property at and around the UK’s major airports.
Our heritage goes back even further to November 2000 when we acquired the original property portfolio from what was the British Airports Authority, now Heathrow Airport Limited. This gave us a valuable foothold of aviation-related industrial property at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Glasgow international airports.
Since then we have concentrated our investment strategy on the London airports which dominate the passenger and air-cargo markets. Today, our portfolio has grown to £0.7 billion* across 2.4 million sq ft and 20 assets. With a long term fund life until 2036, we are looking to command a prominent position at these airports and to be the trusted and reliable partner of choice.
With 19 years of experience, we have successfully delivered world-class industrial facilities at Heathrow for a range of international companies including dnata, Do&Co, GE Aviation Kuehne+Nagel and Swissport.
In the future, from our expectations of the market we expect to see opportunities at the major regional airports like Manchester, East Midlands and Edinburgh.
From the beginning and for the next 17 years, our investors are UK or European institutional pension funds with long term investment horizons.
